So, what the heck is this anyway??...

Stonedragon, the creator of Inside the Music asked me to make a diary like practice page that outlined what I was doing in correspondence to each lesson that he was posting on the his free guitar online guitar lesson site.

The true reason for me for creating these pages is simple, to hopefully help out those individuals that are are just starting and could use some direction as to what to do during their practice time. I believe that even the little bit I have learned will really help true beginners.

I can remember when I first started spending quite a bit of time looking for practice pages of other guitarists on the internet somewhere around my skill level. The truth is, I never found anything. Sure, I found tons of theory and other advice, but nothing detailing how someone approached everything as they sat down to practice. Inevitably I really had to lean on the advice of Stonedragon and what little else I could find literature wise.

The only thing I really did find once was one person's outline of what they felt a beginner, intermediate and serious/advanced player should be dedicating time wise to different fundamentals each session they sat down to practice. Folks, that didn't really help me much for what I was looking for.

What I am going to do here is outline for you, parallel to what I did with each of Stonedragon's lessons, to get through each one. I will also include what I am currently doing practice wise each time I sit down to practice.
