J. Gracey Stinson’s digital abstracts are, in a word, phenomenal. I’d hang them. In my own house…if I just had more wall space. But I’m not reviewing her digital abstracts. I’m not reviewing her photography either, and, believe me, she does world class work. It’s so good that, if I had the time, I’d beg her to let me make a book of my choices. It’s the kind of work people would love to sit and daydream over. …But no book for you today. Something else, instead.

Today, I’m reviewing something new Gracey is doing — contemporary abstracts in a series she calls Abstracts from the Natural World. Take a look:

Hostas in Bloom by J. Gracey Stinson

Three images make up this display, and, for me, it exudes peace, tranquility, and quietude. That’s Hostas in Bloom by J. Gracey Stinson, and if you’re interested in buying one, you can contact her at her website, The Photography of Grace, www.photographyofgrace.com.

My next favorite of her new experimentations is Leaves Under Water.

Mysterious, intriguing, enticing the eye to explore while the imagination delights in fancies. Wonderful piece.

For those who love color, and I know a lot of people really do love bright, Gracey doesn’t hold back with Bursts. It vibrates with vivacious color.

The last one I’ll treat you to is, simultaneously, peaceful and dynamic, alive and yet serene. It’s called Silver Birch

Absolutely lovely work, suitable for office or home.

Again, Gracey’s website is: http://www.photographyofgrace.com/. Do visit her there soon. And tell her “Dawn sent you.” :D
